this might be mostly for pc! because most pc players buying this game have no problems/ idk maybe its just that. there are games that are mostly meant for a different device not hating!

I actually know one of the developers of this game, I went to college with them. It's the only game I've ever donated to the Kickstarter of. Its my understanding that the PC version is pretty stable. Not sure if the Switch port was outsourced to a different developer or if they did it themselves. Fun fact: if ypu ever see a dog namdd Jasper in this game, that's my wife's old dog's name.

I just got the game on sale for less than two dollars and oof it's VERY glitchy. I got stuck several times, couldn't pick up items, the tutorial wouldn't go forward unless I walked away a bit then it would pull me back, the characters were off center of the screen so text was cut off, and many more. This game is unplayable. Idk why Nintendo even has it still up for sale.

Triangle Strategy is a mastrpiece. I loved how it is fantasy but with barely any fantasy to it. Aside from some magic and spells, it is mostly a realistic war story that just sets in a different world. (I really recommend watch "Shoukoku no Atlair", and "Arslan Senki", two anime that are very similar to Triangle Strategy if you want more). I really enjoyed the cabinet sections of choosing your path, and the best thing about that, is you don't actually choose. You have to convince every party member to chose, and they choose for you in an election. Masterpiece.

Great review thanks! Been trying to find switch reviews that specifically mention performance as I have the option to play on Steamdeck. We're there any noticeable frame rate drops or lags? Eastward Octopia was terrible for that.

These type of games aren't my style, but your video prompted me to search for language games, thank you. Now a few hours later and I recommend, Trancelation. Its a vocab learning tool but also a fun game with amazing music, many different languages, for a visual learner this would be great. Ill combine it with Lingopie subscription, finally finishing what I began in school decades ago, but with methods that work for me better. Be well, tschuss.

For a cheap DLC, the game have a good amount of playtime, beautiful colorful pixel art, even a bit of a story, it's a 10/10 for me. But If they released a full game with more contents, I would be super happy. There're a lot of npcs in the base game that I thought will show up but didn't, and also the ending, neither you chose matter at all, just another npc stands around doing nothing.

Good rule of thumb: A game that has an active following 1 year after release is probably worth playing, has reliable reviews from people who played the whole of it, had enough time for important patches and updates to be applied as well as getting graphical updates (if any). It'll also start to get really nice discounts in sales. If you are on a budget, buying on release nowadays will almost NEVER give you the best experience with a game. Unless your primary concern is to be able to talk about the game with all the other disappointed buyers that hadn't had their expectations met.

I love how you adressed this specifically to the cozy gaming community. While it is still true, like some people mentioned in the comments, that this is a bigger problem in general and not just in this community and also that the big companies are especially at fault, I feel like it is very interesting to look at this issue in a specific context. Just because you talked about the wasteful mindset and trend in this community doesn't mean that other communities or the big companies are flawless - it's just a specific video. I think that people who identify with this community are more likely to rethink their lifestyle if there is information like this, that is targeted to them. Because otherwise, it can feel like two different things - there is the topic of sustainability and environmentalism, but there is also this bubble and safe space of cozy gaming. It doesn't usually intertwine. And with algorithms like on tiktok, content that is about new ideas and more things so consume keeps getting attention, and creates even more conten about consumerism. So content like your video, that questions normalized behaviour and normalized materials like polyester is really helpful and I feel like will make some people be more aware of their actions. While it still is partly in the companies responsibility, they are mostly just trying to make money - and we can impact this by not giving them our money. I think this issue should be tackled from both sides - there should be laws which prevent wasteful and harmful use of materials and exploitation of workforce and we should try to not support those companies. thank u!! 🌻

There's a big difference between well made and poorly made synthetic items. I've had a polyester blanket for at least 3 years now, washed it a few times. Never once has it shed or left a plastic smell in my room. I only got it as I got a fairly cheap chair with pu leather and the chair made me sweat. Both that chair and the blanket have well over 600 days continuous use. The sad reality is... It's very hard to find items not made from plastic. It is however, easier to look at reviews online and see what are good items made from it, items that will last you many years. I don't WANT to use plastic stuff all the time... But I just do not have the budget for bespoke wooden speakers for example.
